What will be your responsibilities

As the practice’s first point of contact, you will handle all face-to-face and phone patient registrations, bookings.

  • Communicate compassionately with patients and their families.
  • Coordinate with General Practitioners, other health professionals and their staff
  • Operate our booking system
  • Strong communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Bill patients and issue receipt
  • Medicare and private billings
  • Fax & scan documents
  • File documents & prepare documents for mail-out
  • Coordinate incoming mail & organise pathology records for checking
  • Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities
  • Contribute equally to maintaining the cleanliness of the practice.
  • Maintain practice dress standards
  • Any other administrative duties as directed by Practice Manager
  • Able to work in a small team environment
  • Must be a team player
  • Medical or Radiology administration experience (is a plus)
  • Ability to take direction and adaptive.
